Located in Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and just steps from the children’s hospital rooms, Ronald Mcdonald Family Rooms are open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and provide a space for families to rest, recharge, grab a snack and take a shower.
Oh, and they’re the perfect place for brothers and sisters to do arts & crafts, wrestling, card games, and general goofing off.

We currently have two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Stony Brook Medicine. One is located in the NICU and one is located at Stony Brook Children’s where we provide no-cost respite, snacks, meals, laundry and bathroom amenities to thousands of families every year.
