Mike Carney, Former Resident at RMHC New York Metro, Gives Back.

Mike Carney, former RMHC New York metro resident gives back with support of medical device equipment leader, Drive Devilbiss Healthcare.

You may know someone who has used a Ronald McDonald House at some point in their life, like Mike Carney of Drive Devilbiss Medical, who stayed at RMHC New York Metro with his wife when their son was born. David Purdy, Mike’s colleague, also speaks of someone he knew who used our House.

Like so many of us, we either experienced the benefits of staying at a Ronald McDonald House, or we knew someone who did.

Mike, David, Deanna and others from Drive Devilbiss Medical donate a $5,000 gift to RMHC New York Metro to help families stay close to their sick or injured children. On average, families stay 18 nights, able to be bedside with their child in five minutes. Families benefit from being able to access a warm shower, a hot meal, and the comforts of home while caring for the sick child. It’s a privilege and a gift to be able to provide these services to families and need and we thank Drive Devilbiss for allowing us to continue providing care and support today and in the future.
