We’re going VIRTUAL!

Your support is needed now, more than ever during this global pandemic.

Virtual Experience
This doesn’t mean just run or walk by yourself. You will be provided with an interactive, community-engaging experience for the duration of your walk or run to get the FULL 5K experience!

Run United
We hate that we can’t be physically together right now and we need to do our best to keep our community safe. Run “together” while safely apart from others and crowds.

Support Our Families
RMHC New York Metro families need you now, more than ever. Our in-hospital support is crucial with the temporary closure of our core programs.

We are giving virtual resources to help you power through your walk or run!

Pay It Forward
We need your help to fundraise during this crisis so we can be there for our families as soon as our operations resume.

Proceeds from this event will benefit RMHC New York Metro programs. Because of you, we have been keeping families close prior to COVID-19 and we are still doing everything we can to bring them in-hospital support.

Here’s how:

  • Delivering care packages and snack bags to families
  • Launching an iPad Program so families can have virtual visits with their loved ones
  • Gift cards for gas have been donated and are being distributed to families who endure long travel times and expenses to visit their child’s hospital in the absence of our programs
  • Our Family Room at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital is accessible to hospital employees to serve families – they are able to make coffee, distribute out snacks and water and provide access to laundry.
  • Finally, we have come to the aid of selfless heroes, our healthcare workers. Our Ronald McDonald House is providing overnight respite space for healthcare workers.

As we continue to navigate this crisis, we are staying connected to our hospital partners to identify the needs of our resilient families and the healthcare system itself. We will provide updates to you on how our programs evolve to meet these pressing needs.
